The "Dos" of choosing your florist

We all have a different style, so make sure that you are choosing the one that aligns with the aesthetic you want for your day.

If you feel like you instantly clicked and they immediately understood what you wanted, that's your florist!

Choose the one you are excited to work with and happy to pay!  This means you value their work and are comfortable giving them creative license.

Choose the florist who has great communication and you know will always reply and give their honest opinion.  It is so valuable!

I will say this louder for every one in the back!  You get what you are willing to pay for. Florals are a labor of love.  Cheaper does not always mean better.  At the end of the day, your florals are in all of your photos and create a huge piece of your wedding aesthetic. Please invest in a florist whose work you LOVE.

Don't choose a florist if their style is not one you love.  If their style is completely different from what you are wanting, they are likely not a good fit.  Each  floral designer has their own unique designs and I am so thankful there are so many different beautiful options!

You need to be able to give your florist creative license to get the best possible designs for the day.  If you don't trust your florist to have this creative flexibility to meet your floral dreams, do not book with them.  Your event florals are a BIG deal and a huge part of the vibe of your day.  It  should match what you trust your florist to do.

Don't choose your florist if you don't value their work or the time they put into your event.  You won't appreciate what they create for you.  Floral event design is labor intensive and wildly beautiful!  It's worth the investment.
